The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The outcome of the suicide bombing that targeted a gathering of workers in Tayaran Square in central Baghdad rose to four dead and 22 wounded,” adding that, “The current death toll is the final one.” Earlier today, Baghdad Operations Command announced, that the bombing of al-Tayaran Square in central Baghdad was carried out by a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt. The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Last night, a group of gunmen wearing military uniforms stole 8.5 kilograms of gold from a number of shops in al-Nahr Street in central Baghdad.” The source added, “A security force cordoned off the incident area and carried out a raid to search for the criminals.” Iraqi kop dies in bombing attack (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, that five policemen were either killed or wounded in a bomb blast targeted their patrol in southern Baghdad.
