Another Taliban own goal, this time in Helmand
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least three anti-government armed Death Eaters were killed in an kaboom triggered by their own explosives in southern Helmand...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... province of Afghanistan. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said the incident took place in Kajaki district as the Death Eaters were planting Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to target the convoy of the Afghan forces. This comes as at least two Death Eaters were blown up by their own explosives in a similar incident in western Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province of Afghanistan few days earlier. The anti-government armed bully boy groups have not commented regarding the report so far. The Talibs and other Lion of Islam groups are frequently using Improvised Explosive Device (IED) as the weapon of their choice to target the security forces which normally lead to civilian casualties. IED attacks largely contribute to civilian casualties in the country despite it remains one of the deadly weapons used against the Afghan forces. According to the latest UN report on civilian casualties, the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) remained one of the top causes of civilian deaths in the country during the year 2015, which saw 3,545 deaths and 7,457 casualties.
