Iraqi forces seize munitions cache(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – On Saturday, Tigris Operations Command announced finding an ammunition cache and dismantling 10 improvised explosive devices northeast of Baquba. The commander of Tigris Operations Mazhar al-Ezzawi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “A security force from the army’s 5th brigade found an ammunition cache in the vicinity of al-Saidiya, and also dismantled 10 improvised explosive devices.” Ezzawi added, “The contents of the cache were transferred to one of the army’s 5th brigade’s headquarters in order to be destroyed.” Civilian dies in militant attack (IraqiNews.com) Diyali – A security source in Diyali province said on Saturday, that a civilian was killed in a militant attack northeast of Baqubah.
