Iraqi kops secure weapons cache in Babel
(IraqiNews.com) Babel – Babel Police Command announced on Sunday seizing a cache of explosive materials in the area of al-Buhairat, while pointed out that the cache belongs to one of the displaced families.Babel Chief of Police, Major General Ali Zughaibi, stated at a press conference followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the National Security and Intelligence Directorate, in coordination with the Intelligence [Agency], conducted a search operation in the area of al-Buhairat in the vicinity of Jurf al-Nasr (45 km north of Babel), resulting in the seizure of a cache of explosives that contained 12 large packages. ” Zughaibi added, “The cache belongs to one of the displaced families from al-Jurf,” noting that “The operation was carried out based on the attainment of accurate intelligence.” Posted by: badanov 2016-04-04 |
