Deadly explosion plot to target Friday prayers thwarted in Nangarhar
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A deadly kaboom plot by the anti-government armed turbans to target the Friday prayers was thwarted by the Afghan cops.According to a statement by the provincial government media office, the turbans were looking to target the mosque in Khewa district using a gas cylinder packed with explosives. The statement further added that the explosives were defused by the Afghan cops before the turbans manage to target the worshippers. The anti-government armed hard boy groups including the Taliban forces of Evil have not commented regarding the report so far. This comes as at least 12 non-combatants were killed or maimed in an kaboom in Khewa district last week.
