60 ISIS troops die in artillery strike in Kirkuk
(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – Abbas Combat Regiment of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia announced on Thursday killing about 60 elements of the ISIS during an artillery shelling southwest of Kirkuk.The general supervisor of Abbas Combat Regiment, Maitham al-Zaidi, said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today, Abbas Regiment fired a large number of rockets on sites for ISIS in the vicinity of al-Rashad (35 km southwest of Kirkuk),” adding that, “The shelling resulted in the death of about 60 ISIS elements, in addition to destroying their warehouses of weapons and ammunition.” Posted by: badanov 2016-04-15 |
