Three killed in clashes with NPA in Davao City
 [Davao Today] Two separate encounters between Philippine troops and the communist New People's Army in Davao City on Monday resulted in three casualties.The first clash occurred in the morning on the same day, and another after noon. On the government side, a soldier and a member of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit were killed. An NPA militant was also killed. Two other soldiers were also injured during the fighting.
