Iraqi air force destroys ISIS HQs

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Major General Ismail al-Mahalawi announced on Tuesday, that the Iraqi Air Force destroyed four headquarters belonging to the so-called ISIS north of Ramadi.

Mahalawi said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi Air Force managed to bombard four headquarters belonging to ISIS in Albu Ziab area north of Ramadi, destructing the headquarters completely.”

Mahalawi added, “The international coalition, Iraqi Air Force and Army Aviation are bombing ISIS gatherings and headquarters in the operations axes.”

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashed al-Shaabi in Anbar Province announced on Tuesday, that ISIS leaders and emirs escaped from the district of Fallujah to Tharthar area northeast of Anbar, along with their families.

The commander of Kamat Fallujah brigade, Colonel Juma Fazaa Jumaili said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Accurate intelligence information revealed, that ISIS Arab and foreign leaders, emirs and a number of terrorists escaped from Fallujah with their families to al-Tharthar area.

Jumaili added, “ISIS cells started to collapse, especially after the arrival of military reinforcements to participate in the liberalization battles of Fallujah during the next few days.”

Iraqi aircraft destroy VBIEDs

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday the commander of Jazeera Operations Ali Ibrahim Daboun announced destructing three booby-trapped vehicles belonging to ISIS in the residential neighborhood in Baghdadi vicinity.

Daboun said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation backed by the army’s 7th brigade managed to bomb three booby-trapped vehicles belonging to ISIS in Baghdadi Island north of Baghdadi vicinity.”

“ISIS was intending to attack the residential neighborhood in Baghdadi vicinity using these vehicles,” the statement added.

Mass graves dscovered near Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The head of Ramadi District Council, Ibrahim al-Awsaj, announced on Tuesday finding three mass graves containing the remains of 30 civilian and military personnel in southern Ramadi.

Awsaj said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Three mass graves were found in the area of al-Mallab in southern Ramadi,” noting that, “[The graves] included the remains of 30 persons, most of whom were military personnel along with some civilians, including two children.”

He also added, “The graves were opened under the supervision of an investigating judge, while the dead bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine authority.”
