70 ISIS troops die in battles for Bashir(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Wednesday, al-Abbas brigade announced killing 70 ISIS members in an ambush and armed confrontations in al-Bashir village in southern the province. The General Supervisor of Abbas brigade Maytham al-Zaidi said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Yesterday, Abbas brigade and al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces ambushed ISIS members near al-Bashir village, and were able to kill 30 ISIS members.” Zaidi added, “ISIS attacked al-Abbas brigade and al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces in Tel Ahmed area, killing one member of al-Hashd al-Shaabi and wounding three others,” pointing out that, “Our security forces killed 40 ISIS members and wounded 30 others, in addition to destroying five booby-trapped vehicles and a bulldozer.” 15 ISIS Bad Guys die in airstrikes (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk Province revealed on Wednesday, that 15 ISIS militants were killed in a bombardment conducted by the international coalition aircraft northwest of Kirkuk. The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today the international coalition aviation bombed ISIS headquarters in Serkran vicinity (45 km northwest of Kirkuk),” pointing out that, “The bombing resulted in the destruction of three headquarters belonging to ISIS, in addition to killing 15 ISIS members.” The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “The bombardment was carried out in coordination with the Iraqi intelligence directorates.” Posted by: badanov 2016-04-21 |
