The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a bomb exploded near a popular market in Tarmiya District in northern Baghdad, killing one person and injuring eight others.” The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while a raid operation was carried out to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.” 3 die in bomb attack in al-Dawra (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source within the police force in Baghdad province said on Monday, that three people had been killed and ten others were injured in a bomb blast that took place in the area of al-Dawra southwest of Baghdad. The source, who requested anonymity, said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “At noon, a booby-trapped vehicle that was parked on the road side in the area of al-Dawra, southwest of Baghdad, has went off, resulting in the death of three people and wounding ten others,” adding that, “A security force cordoned off the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine authority.” 3 die in bombing attack in Saidiya District (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Monday, that at least 12 people, including visitors, who came to commemorate the death of Imam al-Kazim, were either killed or wounded in a car bomb explosion south of Baghdad.
