19 die in bomb attack on funeral in Babel
(IraqiNews.com) Babel – The Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday, that 19 people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device targeted mourners inside a cemetery north of Hillah (100 km south of Baghdad).The Ministry of Interior spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, an improvised explosive device exploded targeting mourners inside al-Sahwa cemetery in al-Iskandaria area (55 km north of Babel).” Maan added, “The explosion resulted in the killing of five people and wounding of 14 others.” Posted by: badanov 2016-05-06 |
