Idlib: Two people killed in regime bombing on Jisr al-Shughour
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Two civilians killed and 7 more maimed in cluster missile attack on the rebel-held town of Jisr al-Shughour in Idlib province, local activists told Zaman al-Wasl on Sunday.The regime bombing has also targeted the nearby towns of al-Jisr in the western countryside of Idlib that overlooked on the Latakia province. The center of Civil Defense corps in Bdama town was hit by regime. many were maimed, residents say. On Saturday, Syrian regime forces had breached the partial ceasefire deal in Latakia province for the third day, storming rebel strongholds in Jabal al-Krad and Jabal al-Turkmen with heavy artillery and mortars, local activists said Saturday. Abdul Rahman al-Lathqani said regime troops backed by aerial bombing have made slow advance near al-Hadada village. The bombing has also targeted villages of Kabbana, Tuffahiya, Ein Hor in Jabal al-Akrad, and villages of Job Torous and Klaz in Jabal Turkmen. Washington and Moscow agreed on fragile ceasefire deal in Damascus and Latakia on April 30 after the collapse of 'Cessation of Hostilities' deal that went into effect on February 27.
