Israeli rocket sirens blare in south as Sinai fighting heats up
[IsraelTimes] IDF says alert a false alarm; reports of kabooms were from fighting on Egyptian side of the borderRocket Sirens blared in several communities adjacent to the southern Gazoo Strip Wednesday evening in what the IDF said was a false alarm. Residents of the Eshkol region reported at least two kabooms, but the army said they were apparently the reverberations from fighting on the Egyptian side of the border. There were no rockets fired into Israel, the army said. The army has reportedly beefed up its troop presence along the Israel-Egypt border in light of the increase in hostilities between the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more.
