At least 80 regime troops killed west of Damascus
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] At least 80 regime troops have been killed and 170 more maimed in the ongoing offensive on Khan al-Sheeh town on the western outskirts of Damascus, activists said.Local Coordinations committees said regime forces are planning to overrun Khan al-Sheeh, the key Western Ghouta suburb,taking advantage fro the Russian aerial support and allied militias. Rebel factions have inflicted humiliating defeats on regime forces, according to activists since 250 troops have been killed and maimed. Activist Diaa' Assoud said regime helicopters had dropped about 50 crude barrel bombs on Khan al-Sheeh in the past two days as Russia's warplanes carried out 6 raids on Wednesday. 7 civilians, including two children, were killed on Tuesday when regime forces opened fired on minibus in Khan al-Sheeh town.
