1 wounded in mortar attack in Baqubah
(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – A security source in Diyala Province revealed on Saturday, that a displaced person was wounded by a mortar shell north of Baqubah.The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “ISIS targeted the displaced families on the borders between Diyala and Salahuddin (90 km north of Baqubah) with mortar shell, wounding a civilian and causing material damage to one of the houses.” The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “The security forces started to scan the nearby villages to chase ISIS sleeper cells.” Posted by: badanov 2016-05-22 |
