 2 wounded in bomb attack in al-Yusufiyah (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Sunday, that two civilians had been wounded in a bomb blast that took place south of the capital Baghdad. The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, an explosive device that was emplaced under a civilian vehicle has went off while the vehicle was passing in the vicinity of al-Yusufiyah, south of Baghdad, resulting in the injury of two civilians that were inside it.” The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force cordoned off the area of the explosion and prevented approaching it, while the injured [civilians] were transferred to a nearby hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment.” 1 dies in bombing in al-Sha’ab (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source within the police force in Baghdad province said on Sunday, that nine people had been either killed or injured in a bomb blast northeast of Baghdad.
