7 Haqqani network militants involved in terrorist attack arrested in Paktia
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A group of 7 Haqqani network snuffies were nabbedYou have the right to remain silent... by the Afghan intelligence operatives as they were busy in terrorist activities. The Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS), said the snuffies were arrested during an operation conducted in Gardez city. According to NDS, the group was involved in major terrorist attacks including Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attacks in this province. The anti-government armed myrmidon groups have not commented regarding the report so far. Haqqani network was formed in the late 1970s by Jalaluddin Haqqani ...founder and still titular head of the Haqqani Network. Jalaluddin is old and tough and very crafty, one of the few Pashtun warlords who was worth spit... . The group is allied with al-Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban and cooperates with other terrorist organizations in the region. The network is accused of staging numerous cross-border attacks from their base in North .png) Wazoo, including the 19-hour siege at the US Embassy in Kabul...the capital of Afghanistan.
