2 prominent Taliban Obersturmführers among 18 killed in special military raids
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 18 Taliban snuffies were killed in the latest special military operations conducted by the Afghan National Police (ANP) forces.

According to a statement by MoI, at least 19 Talibs also sustained injuries during the same operations. The statement further added that the prominent Taliban capos killed during the operations have been identified as commander Sangari and Qari Amin.

MoI said the two Taliban capos were invovled in major terrorist activities in the vicinity of Arghandab district of Zabul and Khogyani district of Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..
The Afghan police forces also confiscated a PK machine gun, 1 Ak-47 rifle, 1 mortar and 34 mines duringthe operations, MoI said, adding that a Dshk heavy machine gun was destroyed along with several hideouts of the Death Eaters.

The anti-government armed Death Eater groups have not commented regarding the reports so far.
