However,
it's easy to be generous with someone else's money...
Kamal fell off the cycle of violence during the chase and the locals detained him, RAB said quoting Sheuli.

Later when RAB questioned Kamal, he revealed the names of his associates ‐ Habib, Babu and Sultan. Following the information, a team of RAB 3 along with Kamal went to their hideout where the hijackers sensed the RAB’s presence and started shooting.

Kamal was shot during the shootout and was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
He's dead, Jim!
the RAB statement said.

SI Delowar Hossain said they recovered the body from the area and sent it to DMC morgue. However,
there's more than one way to stuff a chicken...
it could not be ascertained if Kamal had any case against him with any cop shoppes.

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
when Kamal’s family members went to DMCH to receive his body, Kamal’s wife Shwapna Begum claimed that her husband was a RMG scraps trader. She said on Wednesday evening, Sultan had called her and said Kamal was picked up by law enforcers. She then informed local police and RAB but they denied of any such arrest.

Yesterday morning, someone called her from Kamal’s phone and told her that her husband’s had received bullet wounds and was in DMCH. Shwapna Begum said she came to the hospital after the call and found that her husband was already dead.
