1 dead in bombing attack near Baqubah
(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – A security source in Diyali province said on Friday, that four members of the paramilitary al-Hashed al-Sha’bi force had been either killed or injured in a bomb blast that took place towards northeast of Baqubah.In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, the source said, “This morning an explosive device, emplaced inside a farm near Albu Musa village (47 km northeast of Baqubah), went off while a patrol of al-Hashed al-Asha’ari was passing through the area. The blast resulted in the death of one member of al-Hashed al-Asha’ari, while three others received injuries.” “The security forces are investigating the incident,” concluded the statement.
