They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) have come some positive aspects such as putting this community in touch with the outside world, giving its women a role in society and changing some of their social relations, argues Chnar Saad Abdullah, a sociologist and former Kurdish minister of Anfal and deaders affairs.

"Before, Yezidi women were passive and hardly played a role. As many lost their husbands, brothers and fathers, they now have to look after themselves." Abdullah says of thousands of Yezidi women and girls who survived the ISIS onslaught and abductions.
