Central SSP Muqadas Haider, Qadeem Khan was supervising construction of his bungalow in Nazimabad-2 near Chhota Maidan when his brother, Khateeb Gul aka Attaur Rehman, with two relatives, Saeedullah and Asad, stormed the place and opened fire on him.

In the ensuing exchange of fire, five persons were maimed. They were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors pronounced Qadeem Khan and his son, Abdullah, dead on arrival. The attackers, Khateeb Gul, Saeedullah and Asad, were admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The SSP said the two brothers had an old matrimonial dispute though the installation of a water line in the under-construction bungalow triggered violence.
