Ninevah Nightmare: ISIS Attack Repulsed
(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – Iraqi Army officer, Captain Amin Shikhani, informed on Tuesday that the army successfully repulsed an ISIS attack west of Makhmur. Seven ISIS fighters were also killed in the retaliatory firing, Captain Amin further said. Sharing details about the attack, Captain Amin in a statement issued to the media, said, “Today the Iraqi army forces repelled an ISIS attack near al-Karama village west of Makhmur.” Shikhani added, “The international coalition aviation backed the army forces in the operation,” further adding, “The operation resulted in the death of seven ISIS militants, who were gunned down by the forces.” Posted by: trailing wife 2016-07-09 |
