Yezidi women finish combat training to fight for ‘the land and people’
[RUDAW.NET] 137 Yezidi women graduate from Peshmerga military training. The women were trained by the Zeravani forces in a 45-day course. Families and relatives of the graduates attended the event.Tears trickled down their cheeks. It was a happy day for these new female Peshmerga They say that protecting Kurdish land and people is their duty. 16 groups of Peshmerga of Shingal amounting to 8,000 Peshmerga have been trained so far.
