IED blast in Upper Dir kills seven
PESHAWAR: At least seven people were killed on Monday in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Sheringal area of Upper Dir."A vehicle carrying seven persons was on route to Sheringal from Dogdara which hit the planted IED," said Gul Fazel, Station House Officer (SHO) Upper Dir. According to police sources, the terrorists aimed to target a peace committee member. The peace committee member died while under treatment. The area of the blast has been sealed and search operations are underway.
