(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD- A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Tuesday that more than half of ISIS members have shaved off their beards and fled Hawija district because of the progress of the security forces into the district.The source in an interview with Iraqi News said, “More than half of the ISIS fighters have begun shaving their beards and are heading towards remote areas outside Hawija due to the advance of the security forces towards the district.” The source, seeking anonymity, added, “Some of the organization’s leaders have conveyed their families outside Hawija, fearing the arrival of the security forces and the subsequent liberalization of Hawija.” Posted by: badanov 2016-07-20 |
