French forces conduct anti-terror raids in Paris suburb

A top security official said both La Belle France’s top counter-terrorism organization, the DGSI, and the country’s elite police were involved in the Thursday raids that targeted two private residences. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because she was unauthorized to speak publicly on the matter, said she didn’t know if the raids had any links to last week’s truck attack in Nice that killed 84 people and couldn’t elaborate further.
