ISIS kidnaps 20 yutes(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A source in Kirkuk informed on Saturday that ISIS kidnapped 20 persons during a raid at a number of villages west of Kirkuk (250 km west of Baghdad), charging them to be collaborating with the security forces. Sharing details the source said, “ISIS members carried out raid operations and arrested a number of villagers in Hawija, 55 km west of Kirkuk.” The source, who requested anonymity, further added, “Total 20 persons were arrested by the ISIS and of them, mostly were young people. The arrested individuals were charged of spying and cooperating with the security services. They were taken to an unknown destination.” It may be mentioned here that areas south and west of Kirkuk have been under ISIS control since June 2014.
