Terrorists attack police in Jammu state, India
[SouthAfricaToday] At least three militants attacked the police forces on the outskirts of the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, injuring five policemen, local media reported.According to The Times of India, the attack on the Central Reserve Police Force personnel occurred on Monday morning, as India celebrates the Independence Day. The attacks coincided with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s congratulatory speech to the public in New Delhi.
