Kurd forces capture bridge in Erbil
(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – Peshmerga forces on Monday restored a number of areas southwest of Erbil and reached a strategic bridge connecting Erbil, Nineveh and Kirkuk.Iraqi News correspondent said that Peshmerga forces completed its operation in al-Khazar and al-Kwir southwest of Erbil and confirmed regaining control of 12 villages during the operation. The correspondent added that the Peshmerga forces reached the strategic bridge of al-Kwir connecting Erbil, Mosul and Kirkuk province. “Peshmerga forces are currently stationed about 18 km away from the center Mosul city,” added the correspondent.
