Kurds drive back ISIS attack in Dagug
(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Wednesday that the Peshmerga forces foiled an ISIS attack to the south of the province.Sharing details the source said, “ISIS this morning shelled Peshnerga sites in the center of Dagug which is 30 km from Kirkuk. Peshmerga forces repulsed the attack and killed at least six ISIS fighters and wounded eight others. ” “ISIS, through these attempts, is trying to prove that it is still able to attack the security forces in Kirkuk,” further added the source seeking anonymity.
