 2 die in mortar attack in Abu Ghraib (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior informed on Wednesday that mortar shelling to the west of Baghdad killed two persons and injured nine others. Sharing details the source said, “Earlier this morning, two mortar rounds landed near residential buildings at al-Nasser and al-Salam villages in Abu Ghraib district, 20 km west of Baghdad. Two persons were killed and nine others injured due to this.” “Ambulances rushed to the area and carried the injured to a nearby hospital.
