Libyan militia die in carjacking in Tripoli
A member of the local Fursan Janzour (Janzour Knights) was killed in fighting with a group that had stolen vehicles from a car showroom and compound in the west Tripoli suburb.The militia went to the showroom after being alerted that it had been raided early in the morning and dozens of vehicles stolen. To their surprise they found the thieves still there. They were armed and in the subsequent shootout one of the militiamen was killed. In a statement, the Fursan Janzour claim that the gang was from the neighbouring suburb of Ghut Shaal, naming its leader.
