Yemeni Forces Inflict Heavy Losses Upon Saudi-backed Forces
[AlManar] The Yemeni army and popular committees managed to kill scores of Saudi-backed militants and mercenaries in various provinces.After fierce clashes with the militants in Maareb, the Yemeni forces controlled several posts in al-Gheel city in al-Jawf province, killing scores of the Saudi-backed gunmen. The Yemeni army and popular committees also targeted the militants’ gatherings in Maareb province, claiming a number of mercenaries. Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Riyadh launched the campaign against Ansarullah revolutionaries (known as Houthis) in a bid to restore power to fugitive ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
