Hindu (!!) gangster shot to death in Karachi
Shades of RABKARACHI: A 25-year-old Hindu man was shot dead by unidentified armed men here in Lyari area of the metropolis, police said Sunday evening. A police spokesperson said the man shot at and wounded in the Marwari area near Lyari General Hospital. The victim, Shamo, sustained critical bullet wounds on his neck and was shifted to the same hospital, where he was pronounced dead, added the police official. Later, his body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Police claimed the victim was an alleged gangster linked with the Uzair Baloch-led gang in Lyari. Shamo was arrested by Chakiwara police over charges of possessing an illegal weapon, around five months ago. Besides, he was also involved in extortion, alleged the police spokesperson.
