Killed militant Fahim trained with Aminul and Mahmud
[Dhaka Tribune] Militant Golam Faizullah Fahim had a close relationship with the family of newly detained New JMB member Md Aminul Islam, according to Rapid Action Battalion .RAB Legal and Media Wing chief Mufti Mahmud Khan made the statement at a presser held in Dhaka Wednesday afternoon. He said: "In primary interrogation, Aminul and Mahmud disclosed that they were trained in different parts of Bangladesh along with Fahim." He said Fahim, who was tossed in the clink Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please! on charges of attempted murder of a Hindu college teacher in Madaripur, had close relations with Aminul’s family. Earlier today, two couples ‐ Md Shariful Islam alias Mahmud, his wife Marjiya Akter Sumi, Md Aminul Islam and his wife Nahid Sultana ‐ were detained from Narayanganj and Dhaka. The RAB official said: "Aminul and Nahid got married recently. Fahim had attended the ceremony and was the legal guardian in their marriage. "We have documentary evidence of it," said Mizanur Rahman. Fahim was caught red handed by the locals while fleeing with his cohorts after hacking Mathematics lecturer Ripan Chakrabarty at Government Nazimuddin College in the district town of Madaripur on June 15.
