Rebels launch new offensive in Golan Heights as ceasefire begins
[ALMASDARNEWS] Minutes after the commencement of the nationwide ceasefire, the Salafist tough guys launched a new offensive in the Golan Heights region of the al-Quneitra.Led by Jabhat Fateh al-Sham ...formerly al-Nusra, the current false nose and mustache of al-Qaeda in the Levant... and Harakat Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... , the Salafist tough guys stormed the 4th Battalion Base (Tal Taranjeh) and Tuloul al-Hamr in the Golan Heights; this resulted in an intense confrontation with the Syrian Arab Army's 90th Brigade. The Syrian Arab Army repelled the first large-scale offensive by the Salafist tough guys in the Golan Heights this past weekend; however, this attack is much larger than the previous one.
