The usual suspect behind Uri: Lashkar-e-Taiba
[NEWINDIANEXPRESS] Pakistain-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...
(LeT) is said to be the outfit that carried out early Sunday morning's attack on 12th brigade headquarters of the Indian Army in Uri, close to the Line of Control, in which 17 soldiers died. Four Lashkar bandidos turbans were bumped off in the ensuing shootout.

A few days ago, Lashkar chief Hafiz Muhammed Sayeed had said in a telecast that they would turn ''Kashmire into a graveyard for India's security forces''. A few days ago, four bad boyz were potted in a shootout in the Poonch region.

Meanwhile,
...back at the abandoned silver mine, the water was up to Jack's neck and still rising. And then he smelled the smoke...
security forces have pressed into service an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to hunt down bandidos turbans in the area. Army chief Gen. Dalbir Singh Suhag has reached Uri while defence minister Manohar Parrikar was expected to reach Srinagar shortly.
