Lugansk president's parents die in Voronezh
The unidentified parents of Lugansk president Igor Plotnitskiy died Tuesday in Voronezh oblast, according to Russian language media accounts.The two pensioners were admitted to a local hospital last weekend, then later transferred to a hospital in Moskva, where they died. The cause of death was said to be food poisoning from mushrooms. Plotnitsky himself was seriously wounded by a roadside bomb in Lugansk last August. Plotnitsky is not a popular leader in Lugansk and has been linked to the deaths of several military formation commanders under his command, most of them ethnic Cossacks.
