Brother of local political leader shot dead by burqa-clad men
"Kashif Sagheer, 25, was sitting along with some other men in sector 12-C of Orangi Town when four suspects riding on two motorcycles opened fire on him and fled," said Pakistan Bazaar Station House Officer, Imtiaz Mirjat. The police official added the backseat riders were wearing burqas to avoid the pillion ban imposed recently. Mirjat also said the victim’s elder brother, Asif, was a local leader of PSP in Orangi Town. Police officials have started an investigation into the incident. "The assailants specifically targeted Sagheer," added the police official. The deceased sustained critical bullet wounds and was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
