Jihadist rebels launch counter-assault in northern Hama
[ALMASDARNEWS] The jihadist rebels of Ibna al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) launched a counter-assault at Ma'ardes in northern Hama today after losing this key town earlier in the day to the Syrian Armed Forces. According to Ibna al-Sham's official media wing, their forces reportedly reentered Ma'ardes after shelling the area and recaptured the entire town from the Syrian Armed Forces. No photos have been released by the jihadist group as of yet; however, Syrian Army sources confirmed that intense festivities are still ongoing. Over the last two weeks, the Syrian Armed Forces have managed to recapture more than 15 villages from the jihadist rebels in northern Hama, leaving less than 10 sites to go before they can officially reverse all of the latter's gains since September.
