Military Advances Made In Helmand
Security officials said on Saturday they have re-taken a second security-check point from insurgents in Helmand.Security forces had launched a military operation on Friday night and after a few hours of clashes pushed the insurgents back from the area. However, forces battling on the front line have complained about a shortage of ammunition and weapons. An opeartion was started four days ago under the name of Qahre Maiwand and after four days, security forces had only advanced three kilometers.
