US: Eight al-Qaeda-affiliated militants in Yemen killed
 [ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The US military killed eight al-Qaeda-affiliated forces of Evil in two strikes in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... this month, US Central Command said in a statement on Friday. Two forces of Evil associated with al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula ...the latest incarnation of various Qaeda and Qaeda-allied groups, including the now-defunct Aden-Abyan Islamic Army that boomed the USS Cole in 2000... (AQAP) were killed in a strike on Oct. 6 in a remote area of the Shabwa Governorate and six AQAP forces of Evil were killed in a strike on Oct. 18, also in Shabwa, Centcom said.
