Kurdish forces to lead Raqqa offensive without Turkey
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Kurdish-led "Syrian Democratic Forces" announced on Thursday their plan to liberate the strategic city of Raqqa from the Islamic State...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. No Turkish participation," he said. Turkey is conducting their own offensive in northern Aleppo that targets both the Islamic State and Kurdish forces, leaving the latter at odds with Ankara.
