Twin bomb attacks kill 4, wound 10 in Baghdad
[RUDAW.NET] Two kabooms north and south of Baghdda killed four people, including two Iraqi soldiers on Friday, an Iraqi official told Rudaw. A roadside kaboom hit an army convoy in Tarmiyah, 60 km north of Baghdad, killing two Iraqi soldiers and wounding another two, an official from the Iraqi interior ministry who asked not to be named told Rudaw. He added that another kaboom south of Bagdad targeted a grocery market in the Yousifiyah sub-district, killing two civilians and wounding another eight. No group has grabbed credit for either attacks. The Iraqi and Kurdish forces have launched a major offensive against the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Since the launch of the Mosul offensive more than three weeks ago, the ISIS bully boyz scaled up their kabooms in various parts of the country.
