Bomb in Kismayo Café Leaves Five Injured
[All Africa] At least five people are confirmed to have been maimed in a kaboom at a small and busy restaurant in the southern port city of Kismayo on Wednesday, a witness said.The kaboom which caused by remote-controlled landmine tore through the restaurant and sent a thick plume of smoke into the sky, said the witness who spoke to Radio Shabelle over the phone. The restaurant which is located near the local administrative building in Kismayo was filled with Jubbaland security force members and civilians at the time of the kaboom, reports said. In the aftermath of the blast, Jubbaland state forces cordoned off the scene near the bomb site, and launched an investigation into the attack.
