’s Intisar and Aden neighborhoods continued on Sunday as the troops carried out a house-to-house search for remaining gunnies and explosives in liberated quarters.

Iraqi Counterterrorism Forces (ICTF) had reached the edges of al-Qahira and al-Zuhur neighborhoods, northeastern Mosul by Sunday morning, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Wahab al-Saadi, a commander of the forces told Rudaw.

The quarters of al-Tahrir, al-Moualimeen, and Oulama were liberated Saturday after days of intense festivities.

Al-Saadi downplayed ISIS strength and described the confrontations as "light festivities".

He added that "coalition aircraft also carried out Arclight airstrikes and killed 15 ISIS turbans,"

Many civilians in liberated neighborhoods have remained in their homes instead of heading to some refugees camps built for them by aid agencies ahead of the Mosul operation.

Rudaw news hounds in Mosul have noticed long queues of men, women and kiddies lining up before Iraqi soldiers and UN agencies to receive food.

Iraqi defense ministry releases video of ISIS-held western Mosul

[RUDAW.NET] The Iraqi defence ministry released a video Sunday that it claims was taken in the ISIS-occupied part of western djinn-infested Mosul

, to show that its intelligence agents have infiltrated neighborhoods still held by the bully boys.

"The heroes of the directorate of military intelligence were able to infiltrate the ISIS (ISIS) Lions of Islam inside their defense lines and inside the heart of Mosul and the city center," said the Iraqi General Directorate of Intelligence in a statement posted on the Iraqi defence ministry.

The video shows some roads inside Mosul, with a voice saying the film is being shot by Iraqi intelligence agents.

At one stage the male voice says they have arrived at the fifth bridge on the Tigris River, or Jisir al-Khamis. It then shows footage of a mosque, believed to be the Great Mosque of Mosul, or the Nuree Mosque as it is also called, where ISIS leader Abu Bakir al-Baghdadi announced the foundation of his so-called Islamic caliphate in Iraq and Syria in July 2014.

The voice on the video says that Iraqi intelligence agents carry out surveillance, track down ISIS Lions of Islam and kill them.

It also threatens that those who have adhered to ISIS or have cooperated with it the group "will not survive," unless they start to cooperate with the Iraqi security forces.

Iraqi forces have liberated parts of Mosul’s east bank, where fighting continues as the military tries to push into more neighborhoods.

by Iraqi Counterterrorism Forces (ICTF) on Sunday, as troops conduced house-to-house searches in areas of the city they have liberated.

"The counterterrorism forces killed a wali (governor) of ISIS, the criminal Marwan Hamid Salih al-Hayali, and a number of murderous Moslems in the Aden neighborhood on the left bank" of Mosul, the Iraqi War Media reported.

Earlier in the day, Rudaw correspondents in Mosul reported festivities between advancing Iraqi forces and ISIS snuffies in the city’s Intisar and Aden neighborhoods, as the Iraqi troops carried out house-to-house search for remaining snuffies and explosives in liberated quarters.

The ICTF had reached the edges of the al-Qahira and al-Zuhur neighborhoods in northeastern Mosul by Sunday morning, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Wahab al-Saadi, a commander of the forces, told Rudaw.

He added that "coalition aircraft carried out Arclight airstrikes and killed 15 ISIS bully boys."

Iraqi forces have liberated several eastern districts of the city which lies on the left bank of the Tigris River that dissects Mosul but are facing stiff resistance as they try to push deeper inside.

battle against ISIS were advancing on multiple fronts, clearing ISIS bombs and booby traps from roads and homes.

The offensive, called ’We Are Coming Nineveh," said that forces were operating on five fronts around Mosul.

In southwestern Mosul, where the Iraqi Federal Police is in charge, bomb disposal teams "have cleared the area of planted bombs and booby traps," the military said in a statement.

In southeastern Mosul, the army’s 9th Armored Division has "cleared the neighborhoods of Intisar, Jadida, Mufti, salam, Younis Sabaawi and Paleostine of bombs," it added.

On the third front in the eastern part of the city, the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Forces were cleaning the districts of Bakir, Zahabiya, Khazza Qadisiya1, Tahrir and Wala of bombs planted by the Lion of Islams.

"At the same, several other buildings and the Khaza complex apartments, together with its water project, have been cleaned," the statement read.

In the northern part of Mosul, the army’s’ 16th division defused bombs and booby traps left behind by retreating krazed killers.

On the final fifth front, where the forces of the Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi are in charge, "the Tal Afar airport is cleared" of ISIS krazed killers, the statement said.

neighborhoods retaken from ISIS as their advance toward the city center was slowed by sniper fire and suicide kabooms, as well as concern over the safety of civilians.

"The biggest hindrance to us is the civilians, whose presence is slowing us down," Maj. Gen. Sami al-Aridi of the special forces told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named. "We are soldiers who are not trained to carry out humanitarian tasks."

A few hundred civilians emerged from rubble-strewn front-line neighborhoods on Sunday. They included women and kiddies, some of them carrying bags, small suitcases or waving white flags. Mosul is still home to more than 1 million people.

The government sent half-dozen trucks loaded with food aid into the recently liberated areas. Chaos broke out in one neighborhood, where residents climbed on top of the trucks and began helping themselves. Women extended their hands in desperation, trying to get a share of the aid. Young boys chased the trucks and jostled and pleaded for food packages.

"It’s hunger that makes people behave like this," said Mohammed Farouq, a 27-year-old resident. "Some families took many boxes, while others did not take any. This is unfair."

Fethi Mahmud Abdulla, another resident, pleaded for people to keep the lines. "People are tired, so tired. Some of them take aid five or seven times," he said.

Counterterrorism units
Counterterrorism units entered into the left coast of Mosul in Iraq amid fierce festivities against members of ISIS.

The unit’s forces fighting in the eastern axis of the city managed to liberate the neighborhoods of al-Moharebeen, al-Moalmeen and al-Oalmaa.

According to a statement issued by the commanders of the "We are coming Nineveh" operation, forces fighting ISIS continue liberating the neighborhoods of al-Bakr, al-Zahabiya, al-Khadra, al-Qadisiya al-Oula, al-Tahrir and al-Walaa.

Meanwhile,

the army’s ninth division continues to progress south east of Mosul in the neighborhoods of the left coast and continues to liberate the neighborhoods which it stormed in the past few days.
