 Bomb detonates in Zayouna area Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Operations Command announced on Wednesday, that an improvised explosive device exploded in Zayouna area, in eastern Baghdad. The command said in a press statement, “An improvised explosive device exploded, at noon today, in the area of Zayouna in eastern Baghdad, inflicting material damage on two vehicles, without leaving any casualties.” “Security forces cordoned off the area of incident and barred approaching it,” the statement added. The capital, Baghdad, is witnessing a surge of violent acts, including car bombs and IEDs attacks, in addition to suicide attacks against civilians and security forces.
