 Iraqi militiaman dies in Fallujah in booby trapped residence Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A shia soldier was killed in the explosion of his booby-trapped house, south of Fallujah district, Alsumaria News reported on Wednesday. The Iraqi media outlet stated, “One of al-Hash al-Ashaeri members, while entering his house in Amiriyah Fallujah, was killed when the house exploded, killing him immediately.” “The member of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri did not know that his house is booby-trapped. Security forces rushed to the area of incident and transferred the body to the forensic medicine department,” Alsumaria added. Amiriyah Fallujah district is controlled by security forces and tribal fighters, while members of the Islamic State group tried to attack the district several times, but their attempts were foiled by security forces.
