Palestinian, 19, shot dead during clashes with Israeli forces
[IsraelTimes] Army and border police pelted with rocks in village near Ramallah; one Israeli officer injured.A Paleostinian teenager was rubbed out early Sunday during festivities with Israeli security forces in the West Bank. An army front man said the incident occurred in the village of Beit Rima, near Ramallah, after Israeli security services were confronted by Paleostinian youths rioting and throwing rocks. One border police officer was injured by the rock-throwing. The army front man said that security forces used riot dispersal means in order to quell the festivities and fired toward the main instigators. The Paleostinian Health Ministry said that Ahmed Hazem al-Rimawy, 19, was killed in the ensuing fire. Paleostinian media reports said the teenager was the son of Hazem Atta al-Rimawy, who had spent 15 years in Israeli jail and was released three months ago. The army said it was looking into reports that another Paleostinian was injured during the riots. According to reports in the Hebrew-language media, al-Rimawy was shot in the chest.
